Sara Amatista

Sara Amatista is a motion and visual designer and has been an external collaborator with Pianeta.Studio since 2024. She holds a diploma in Fine Arts and Graphic Design from IED Istituto Europeo di Design (specialising in Web Design UX-UI, Editorial Design, Brand Identity, and Motion) and completed a master’s at IED Milan in 2024, specialising in motion design and animation with After Effects. She met Massimiliano Mauro and Francesca Fossati during her university years, and it was from that connection that her collaboration with the studio began. While motion is her core skill, her work extends to visual design and communication: she brings the team a sensibility for movement and the rhythm of images, alongside the independent perspective of someone working from outside the organisation.

Within Pianeta.Studio she works as a motion designer on a project basis and handles visual design for Plenitude on the Road. Her contribution centres on animation and the visual translation of content, areas where movement helps make messages more legible and accessible. She works remotely and shares the sustainability values that guide the studio — and it is this alignment of intent, more than the technical dimension alone, that underpins her ongoing collaboration with Pianeta. Outside of work she practises yoga and enjoys good wine.
